Keep Workin'
THE OTHER ME
    I do not write--
    The other me
    Demands emergence constantly.
But if I turn to face him much too swiftly
    Then
He sidles back to where and when
    He was before
    I unknowingly cracked the door
    And let him out.

A Writer writes and looses the muse in words and mental pictures, captured on a page. A wise writer knows his/her own subconscious and lets it speak of the world as sensed by it and shaped to its own truths.

Writer's Daily Workout

Writing and editing are two different processes requiring two different mind sets. In the "Once Upon a Time" of years ago, a writer could send a fiction manuscript to a publishing house or magazine publisher and work with an editor to bring the manuscript to its fullest potential. That was then. Now, if the plot is strong enough or simply within the popular interest, the manuscript is signed up and put into print--"potential" be damned. But if the plot is weak or the dialog/characters/structure needs work, the manuscript is rejected-- again, "potential" be damned. Redford's The Celestine Prophecy is a perfect recent example of a manuscript that no publisher originally wanted; it was then selfpublished--the rest of the story is history.

We offer the solution to the editorial problems the writers of the '90's encounter at every turn, and the freedom to let the writer write. Experienced editors and published writers will critique your work, offer suggestions for enhancement, and correct grammatical errors. We will also assist in the creation of a synopsis for your completed work and superior cover letters to best sell your "product."
